A bakery counter: bread on display, two staff members behind it.

Your customers

5 questions

How long does it take a customer to add their card?
Your customers add their card in 10 seconds, with nothing to install. They scan the counter code with their camera, enter their first name and phone number or email, then tap "Add to Apple Wallet" or "Add to Google Wallet".
Not all my customers have an iPhone. Does it still work?
Yes. The Google Wallet card is as complete as the Apple one: stamps, reward and member number all show on the card. For the rare phones with neither, there’s a web card with the same QR code.
Is it complicated for my older customers?
It’s a QR code scan and one button: "Add to Apple Wallet" or "Add to Google Wallet". If the customer hesitates, staff shows them on their phone in ten seconds. Staff can also sign them up with their first name and email: the card link goes out by email.
Why not just an app?
An app has to be downloaded, opened, and needs a password to remember. The Wallet card lives in the app your customer already uses for their bank card or transit pass. Nothing to download, nothing to forget.
What if a customer changes phones or deletes their card?
The stamps aren’t stored on the phone: they’re kept in your program. The customer enters their phone number or email, gets a link, and the card comes back with all its stamps.

Setup

6 questions

How does setup actually work?
Everything is done remotely, wherever your business is. We prepare your card from your logo, you approve it on your phone, and the counter kit arrives by mail, ready to go. Your team’s training is given by video, in 15 minutes.
How long before the card is up and running?
One week. Signed on a Monday, up and running before the next Monday: time to prepare the card, send it to you for approval and mail the counter kit.
Do I need to open an account with Apple or Google?
No. The platform has its own accounts with Apple and Google, and it publishes your card. You give us your logo, colours, reward, hours and address, and you sign the documents online. That’s it.
I already have paper cards. What happens to them?
Keep them. On setup day, we move each customer’s stamps to their phone. Any bonus is your choice.
I don’t have time to deal with this.
You don’t set anything up. We prepare everything from your logo and colours, then train your team by video. Your only job is to tell your team to ask: "Would you like your loyalty card?"
Isn’t all this too much for me?
There’s nothing to learn on day one. At setup, you choose your program, your reward and which messages to turn on. The rest is there if you ever need it, and we’ll show you whenever you like.

At the counter

4 questions

Do I need to buy a device for the counter?
No. The counter station runs in the browser of a tablet or phone with a camera, which you may already have. A USB or Bluetooth code reader is optional.
How do I stop staff from cheating?
Each stamp carries the employee’s PIN, and going over the daily limit takes the manager’s PIN. Everything stays in a log that can’t be erased. You’re alerted if an employee always stamps the same customer, or outside your hours.
Does it work with my register?
Yes: scanning the QR code works with any register. The links with Square, Lightspeed Retail, Square Appointments, Vagaro (if your account allows it), Moneris, Clover, Shopify, Toast and TouchBistro are ready. Each one turns on as soon as the provider gives us access, with no promised date and no extra cost. Then we connect it with one click from you, in under 2 minutes.
What about tapping the phone, contactless?
The QR code stays the main way: it works everywhere, with no special device. Tap-to-stamp is ready: customers hold their phone near the terminal and get their stamp as they pay. It turns on once Apple and Google approve, with a certified terminal at your counter, optional and sold at cost.

Price and commitment

7 questions

Does the price go up if I have lots of customers?
No. Two lines: $149 once, $89 a month, all included, plus tax. The price doesn’t go up with the number of members or the features you use.
I’d rather pay less for fewer features.
One offer, every feature included for every business, no tiers. Nothing is held back: we start with the essentials, and you add the rest whenever you like, at the same price.
How much do text messages cost?
No text messages for now. Your reminders go out as Wallet card notifications, included.
Is there a free trial?
There is no free trial. The first month is billed at go-live. Before signing, the demo shows you the actual card on your phone.
What if I want to stop in six months?
You leave whenever you want, at no cost, with all your customer data. The subscription is month to month. Only the yearly option commits you for a year, in exchange for 1 free month.
What happens to my customers’ cards if I stop?
For 30 days, you can download all your data for free (60 days if the law requires it for your program). After that, the cards are turned off and the data destroyed. Rewards earned and prepaid amounts are still owed by your business to your customers.
Are there any other fees?
No feature is sold separately. The only extras are equipment or a service, if you ask: a USB or Bluetooth scanner (optional) or a replacement kit. You get the price in writing first.

Data and privacy

4 questions

Is it legal to keep my customers’ data?
Yes, and we help you do it right. The card is built to follow privacy laws: separate consents, a ready privacy policy, an incident log. You remain responsible for this information, and we fill in the documents to sign with you.
Who can see my customers’ data?
You, and your team based on the access you give them. Our team only opens your account to help you. Every access is written in the log.
Where is the data hosted?
On a server located in Germany, in the European Union. The full list of our providers, with their country, is in the privacy policy, and the Security and privacy page details each measure.
What if Apple blocked my card?
Every customer also has a web card that works without Apple, and the Android card doesn’t depend on it. If Apple blocked our cards, your iPhone customers would get their web card link in under 15 minutes. Your counter would keep scanning, without losing a stamp or a customer.
